The telescope has a large diameter of 70 mm, which will collect a lot of light and give you a clear view of objects, allowing you to use higher magnification. This telescope has a standard 1.25" eyepiece holder, which puts it above the beginner category and allows for future upgrades - additional eyepieces, diagonals, filters, etc. The included eyepieces are of better quality than other telescopes of similar price.

The 700 mm focal length will give a higher magnification, making it a particularly good telescope for planetary observation, but the diameter is also sufficient for fainter objects.
